This is something I’ve discussed months ago with Amir, Nikhil, and Sid. The Wall Street ‘analysts’ seem to finally be catching on and I expect to see many articles on this in the near future. If Apple hits its consensus 12-month price targets and Microsoft falters even slightly, Apple will be the largest tech company in the world. With the impending and mysterious tablet launch, things could get interesting in 2010. Google is actually a contender as well that but is strangely being ignored. I personally think we’re still 24 months away as Microsoft will gain in market value as well. Having said that, I do think the takeover of the tech crown by Apple is inevitable.
